High processing precision: Adopting dual torque motor direct drive, the rotation precision of the workbench and tool spindle is high. The processing precision can reach GB5 level, the surface roughness can reach Ra0.8-Ra1.6μm, and the finish and pitch precision are higher than those of gear shaping.
High processing efficiency: During gear hobbing processing, the hobbing cutter performs high-speed cutting along both the tooth profile and tooth direction. Compared with gear shaping processing, the efficiency is increased by 3-5 times, and the retraction stroke is smaller than that of gear hobbing. It is suitable for high-speed processing of external teeth with small empty tools, and is more economical in mass processing.
